through a natural disaster or through HIV/AIDS in India. |
 |
| Cherie Booth Q.C, President of The Loomba Trust says
"Never before have there been so many widows from HIV/AIDS in the world as today. They
face stigma and extreme poverty. They lack the most basic human rights. They can lose
inheritance, property and face violence and abuse. The desperate need of widows and
children to find ways of surviving can itself result in the spread of HIV/AIDS. The £100,000 given
by the M·A·C AIDS Fund to The Loomba Trust will help make a significant difference for these widows
and children in India. As President of the Loomba trust I would like to express my heartfelt
appreciation for your most welcome support" |
