1) Q. What are your funding interests?
A. The M∙A∙C AIDS Funds provides support for HIV/AIDS programs and services.  Specific funding categories are described on our website.  The website also includes updates on any special initiatives the Fund is supporting. 

2) Q. Does an organization have to be devoted exclusively to HIV/AIDS programming, or can an organization that provides HIV/AIDS programming, among other services, submit an application?
A. Organizations which serve other populations are welcome to apply as long as the program for which they are requesting funding directly and exclusively benefits those living with HIV/AIDS.

3) Q. Does the M∙A∙C AIDS Fund support international programs?
A. Absolutely.  Organizations registered as charities in the USA or Canada, which conduct international programming, are welcome to apply for funding.  However, we do not currently accept proposals from organizations that are based outside of the USA or Canada. 

4) Q. Are individuals eligible to apply for funding?
A. No. The M∙A∙C AIDS Fund provides funding only to non-profit organizations.

5) Q. Does the M∙A∙C AIDS Fund sponsor events?
A. No.  The M∙A∙C AIDS Fund directs its funding to the support of programs within our four (4) areas of focus.  We do not provide funding for event sponsorships. 

6) Q. We are looking for funding for a program, but the program falls outside of MAF’s stated program areas.  Can we still apply?
A. In order to be as effective as possible with our giving, the M∙A∙C AIDS Fund has identified four specific program areas in which we fund.  If your program falls outside of these areas, we cannot provide support for it at this time.
