1) Q. Is there a required application form?
A. Yes, there is a downloadable form on our website that we ask all grant applicants to complete. The website also lists the attachments that should accompany your application.

2) Q. Are there application deadlines?
A.Yes, these are posted on our website.

3) Q. We just noticed that we missed the deadline for applications.  Is there any way we can still apply?
A. While we wish we could accommodate special requests, we receive an enormous volume of applications each round.  In order to be fair to all applicants, we must receive your application in the New York office by the deadline in order for it to be included.  Applications received after the deadlines are automatically placed in the following grant round for review. Post marked applications will not be accepted.

4) Q. When can we anticipate an answer regarding the outcome of our application?
A. Grant decisions are sent to applicants in writing within four months of the application due date.  

5) Q. Our organization received a grant last year; will this grant automatically be renewed?
A. Unless explicitly outlined in the terms of your grant, all M∙A∙C AIDS Fund grants are one time grants.  If your organization decides to re-apply for funding, all further applications will be considered new grant requests and will be evaluated on their merit and in light of our available funds and strategic priorities. 

6) Q. We have received funding already this year.  Are we eligible to apply for funding of a different program?
A. In most circumstances, the M∙A∙C AIDS Fund will only approve one grant per year, per organization.
