1) Q. What are the formatting requirements for the proposal (length, font size etc.)?
A. There is no set requirement for the length of the proposal.  We believe that a range of 8-12 pages single spaced is a reasonable parameter.  Please respond to the questions outlined in the RPF in as clear yet succinct a manner as possible.  Use a standard font size (11-12 point font).

2) Q. What is the term (time period) of the grant?
A. All YPI grants are one year grants. It is possible that applicants whose programs have gone well would be able to reapply for future funding, but this would be determined on a case by case basis based on first year outcomes and our available resources.  We are not considering multi year commitments at this time.

3) Q. Is there a set implementation time-line? 
A. Decisions will be made by the MAC AIDS Fund’s board of directors in late June and applicants will be advised of the status of their proposal shortly thereafter.  Ideally, applicants would be poised to begin implementation as soon as possible after notification.  It is our expectation that all programs we support will be in operation no later than October, 2008.
