About the M·A·C AIDS Fund Youth HIV-Prevention Initiative
On February 5, 2008, M∙A∙C Cosmetics announced Fergie as the newest spokesperson for the M∙A∙C VIVA GLAM VI Campaign.  As part of her role, Fergie will represent a new limited edition VIVA GLAM VI Lipglass, and serve as a voice for the M∙A∙C AIDS Fund’s Youth Prevention Initiative.  Proceeds from the new VIVA GLAM VI Lipglass will be directed towards the M∙A∙C AIDS Fund’s Global Youth HIV-Prevention Initiative which in turn will fund organizations addressing HIV/AIDS prevention in youth around the world.  This initiative will directly respond to the increased risk of HIV infection among young people by supporting innovative youth prevention programs aimed at groups at greatest risk.
Applications should be for innovative, large-scale youth prevention efforts targeting high-risk populations of youth.
