M·A·C has consistently and fearlessly stood firm in the fight against HIV/AIDS and for the rights of those affected by and infected with HIV/AIDS.

In the Caribbean, M·A·C AIDS Fund is making a mark in a region of the world that is increasingly in need of support.  Through the Caribbean Initiative, M·A·C AIDS Fund is supporting programs tackling key issues in the islands, treatment through provision of antiretroviral therapy, community led prevention and treatment education, legal advising of people with HIV/AIDS, prevention through family planning centers, and journalism.

Additionally, M∙A∙C AIDS Fund recently partnered with UCLA and Columbia University to establish the M∙A∙C AIDS Fund Leadership Initiative.  This program aims to train, educate and engage tomorrow’s leaders in HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment in South Africa.

While these two funding initiatives are only part of the overall grant making activities of the M∙A∙C AIDS Fund, we are proud to continue to explore emerging issues in HIV/AIDS care and education, and combating the stigma and discrimination that so many people living with HIV/AIDS face today.
